QuStream’s Cheetah XE series is an extremely flexible routing switcher that can be configured in three ways – traditional routing frames with full output option support, output expansion up to 128 for 64XE series and up to 256 for a 128XE series, or as a mixed frame with both output options and expansion. The XE series can be configured as 64x64 in 6RU or 128x128 in 11RU. Each frame supports QuStream’s proprietary output conversion cards.

Cheetah XE series can be easily expands output to a higher

configuration due to its multiple option slots. It is also flexible enough to accommodate partial output expansion and options.


64XE Series

64XE (64x128)
The Cheetah 64XE allows full output option support as 64x64, or expanded up to 64x128 cross-point card.
  - Frame types : 64XE (6RU up to 64x128)
  - Supports HD, SDI, ASI, and digital video from 3Mbps up to 1.5Gbs
  - 64XE frame can expand outputs up to 128 with optional cross-point card
  - all frames support fiber I/O and fiber options
  - with system control application (3500PRO-LE, 3500PRO or PERC2000)
  - N+1 power supply
  - Hot swappable cards for on-air maintenance
  - Supports network connectivity with Viewport™ diagnostics software
  - Serial port of RS232 and RS422 available
  - Supports SNMP network management
   


128XE Series

128XE (128x256)

The Cheetah 128XE is an extremely flexible routing switcher that can be configured in three ways. The 128XE allows full output option support when configured as 128x128, yet it can be expanded to 128x256 by adding a second 128x128 crosspoint card. 128XE also allows the frame to be partially configured for different output options.
