QuStream’s Cheetah XR series video matrix switchers offer full-feature routers ranging from 288x288 to 864x864 for digital video using full-size, standard BNC I/O connectors. It offers high input/output density within the smallest frame size available. And, for the ultimate convenience, the Cheetah system components are completely contained within a single fully enclosed frame.

Cheetah XR series frames incorporate QuStream’s next generation 144x144 matrix card which provides higher per-card signal I/O capacity, allowing higher matrix density than ever before with no increase in rack space.

A full range of input and output cards for virtually any signal type or signal combination one can imagine. It can even mix fiber and copper cabling in the same frame using the various I/O cards available in the XR series.

XR Series

288x288 XR

HD Multi-Rate Input

	-	Supports up to 16 channels for HD or multi-rate video
	-	Supports from 3Mbs up to 1.5Gbs bandwidth
	-	Automatic cable equalization up to 100m
	-	Compliant with SMPTE 259M or 292M standards

SDI/ASI Input

	-	Supports up to 16 channels for SDI or ASI signals
	-	Supports from 3Mbs up to 540Mbs bandwidth
	-	Automatic cable equalization up to 300m
	-	Compliant with SMPTE 259M-A, B, C and D

HD Fiber Multi-Rate Input

	-	Supports up to 16 channels of HD/SDI or multi-rate signals
	-	Compliant SMPTE 259M or 292M standard
	-	Operates with either single or multi mode fiber
	-	SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) modules supporting 1310nm wave length

Coarse Wave Division Multiplexing (CWDM) - Cheetah V16 Input

	-	Supports up to 16 video channels of 1.5Gbs bandwidth each
	-	Supports HD, SDI and multi-rate signals from 3Mbs up to 1.5Gbs
	-	Modules are multiplexed wavelength from 1310nm to 1610nm
	-	Fiber signal are de-muxed from a single fiber cable at distances up to 5Km

Output Options

HD Fiber Output

	-	Supports up to 16 channels of HD/SD or multi-rate signal
	-	Supports SMPTE 259M or 292M standard
	-	Operates with either single or multi mode fiber
	-	SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) modules supporting 1310nm wavelength
	-	Can be set to support reclocking or non-reclocking modes

HD Multi-Rate Output

	-	Supports up to 16 channels of HD or multi-rate signals
	-	Supports from 3Mbs up to 1.5Gbs
	-	Supports both SMPTE 259M and 292M reclocking standards of 143Mbs to 540Mbs and 1.486Gbs
	-	Each channel can be selected to reclock or bypass using Viewport™ application

SDI/ASI Output

	-	Supports up to 16 channels SD or ASI signals from 143Mbs to 540Mbs
	-	Supports SMPTE 259M-A, B, C and D
	-	Compliant with ASI
	-	Each channel can be selected to reclock or bypass using Viewport™ application

Coarse Wave Division Multiplexing (CWDM) - Cheetah V16 Output

	-	Supports up to 16 channels of CWDM fiber signals muxed to a single optical fiber output
	-	Supports HD, SDI and multi-rate signals from 3Mbs up to 1.5Gbs
	-	SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) modules supporting multiplexed 1310nm to 1610nm wavelength
